Itinerary 2: Four-Night, Three-Day - Fishing, Glaciers, & Exploring |

Spend three relaxing days enjoying fishing, glacier watching, and exploring Mitkof island.
Itinerary:
- Arrival day, stop in at the Visitor Information Center and become familiar with our community, local trails, harbors, and our quaint downtown area.
- Day One, half-day glacier tour. Rent a car to begin exploring Mitkof Island.
- Day Two, spend a full day exploring the Tongass National Forest boardwalk trails, lakes, and other scenic areas along the 100+ mile road system.
- Day Three, halibut or salmon sport fishing
Approximate costs for two persons include:
- four nights lodging
- three full meals/day
- half-day glacier tour
- 2-day car rental
- sports fishing
Approximate Total $1,850 ($275/person/day for 3 ½ activity-filled days)
